ChessMood is a chess-learning platform, founded in February 2019 by GM Avetik Grigoryan.[1][2].

Learning Model[edit]

ChessMood operates on a freemium model and offers chess courses, articles, puzzles, 1-1 call with a Grandmaster, online webinars, streams and has an internet forum[3].

Investors, Partners and Sponsored Events[edit]

In August 2021, it raised $200,000 from investors, one of them being Baddredine Ouali, the founder of Vermeg[4].

In 2021, rom 4th to 12th October, ChessMood sponsored a Grandmaster Open event in Tsangdor, Armenia[5][6]. The A Group event was won by GM Goganov Aleksey[7], while the Group B event was won by Petrosyants Argishti[8]. It’s also the official partner of the Japan Chess Federation[9]
