Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test

Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is a state level entrance examination conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur every year for admission to undergraduate programs in different disciplines of engineering (B.Tech. and B.E.) in various government-aided and private unaided technical institutions of Chhattisgarh. It is conducted by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Examination Pattern

CG PET is a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam of Duration 3 Hours of Maximum Marks 150 (Physics – 50, Chemistry – 50, Mathematics – 50) and having no negative marking

Eligibility Criteria

Criterion	Requirements
Age	Candidates must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 30 2017. The upper age limit is 30 years. There is a relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit for OBC, SC/ST, female and PWD candidates.
Domicile	Resident of Chhattisgarh as well as other states.
Qualification	Aspirants must have qualified higher secondary or any other equivalent exam from a recognized board. The subject combination required in the qualifying examination is Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. General category candidates must qualify the examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Reserved category candidates must secure at least 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
