Chi Forest(Chinese name: 元气森林; previously known as: Genki Forest) is a beverage brand with headquarter in Beijing,China. The company was founded in 2016, specializing in food and beverage products. Key products include flavored sparkling water[1], milk tea, oolong tea, herbal tea, and functional drinks[2]. Products are sold over 40 countries[1] and regions, including China, USA, Europe, Australia[3], Indonesia, Malaysia[4], Singapore, and more.

Chi Foreset ranked 87th on KANTAR BRANZ most valuable Chinese brands list in 2022.[5] Chi Forest also ranked 26th on Global Unicorn Index 2022 Half-Year Report by Hu Run.[6]


In 2015, the Food R&D Center was established.[7]

In 2016, Chi Forest(Beijing) Food Technology Group Co., Ltd. was officially established.[8]

In 2017, Chi Forest launched Ran Tea, the first product that won popularity among consumers.[9]

In 2018, Chi Forest launched "0 sugar, 0 fat, 0 calorie" Sparkling Water.[7]

In 2019, Chi Forest launched Milk Tea.

In 2019,Chi Forest officially launched its overseas strategy and launched in United States.[10]

In October 2019, the first factory of Chi Forest was built in Chuzhou, Anhui Province, China.[11]

In May 2020,Chi forest launched its electrolyte water brand "Alienergy".[12]

In 2020, considering food safety issues, the Quality Control team of Chi Forest upgraded to the "1st Food Safety Center", with one veto on food safety issues.[13]

In October 2021, the fifth factory of Chi Forest was started to build in Xianning, Hubei Province,China. Chi Forest announced that it had completed the innovative model of "super city group + five self-built factories".[14]

In 2021, Chi Forest participated in Expo 2021 Dubai and became senior sponsor for China Pavilion at Expo 2021 Dubai.[15]

In May 2021, Chi Forest cooperated with Jiangnan University and jointly established "the Sugar Reduction & Health Research Institute".[16]

In June 2021, Chi Forest was designated as the only official beverage for 2021 China Winter Sports Festival.[17]

In 2021, Chi Forest's mineral water brand "Ucon" launched on the CVS stores in China.[18]

"Chi Forest Won Big in 2022 Winter Olympics"[edit]

Before 2022 Winter Olympics, Chi Forest signed Eileen Gu, Su Yiming and Xu Mengtao, three Chinese delegates for 2022 Winter Olympics , as Chi Forest brand ambassadors. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, Eileen Gu won the gold medal in freestyle skiing, winning the big air event. She also won a second gold medal in the women's freeski halfpipe competition. On February 15,2022, Su Yiming won the gold medal in the Big Air event. Before Su won his gold medal, Xu mengtao also won a gold medal in the Women's Aerial Ski. Therefore, all three Chi Forest brand ambassadors won the gold medal, which made a splash in the media. On February 15, the topic "Chi Forest Won Big in 2022 Winter Olympics" ranked No. 2 in trending of Sina weibo, and the topic generated more than two million impressions.[20]

Announced Jackon Yee as brand ambassador[edit]

On January 21 2022, Chi Forest announced that Jackon Yee, a phenomenal Chinese actor, dancer and singer, as its brand ambassador.[21]


On December 31, 2020, "The Most beautiful Night in 2020" Gala held by Bilibili was officially lived broadcasted. Chi Forest got the naming right of this new year gala. The gala was hosted by Sa beinin and actor He Bing as a special guest, and venues were set up in Beijing, Wuhan, Hong Kong and Taipei. Peak views of the live broadcast reached 250 million.[23]
