Chifeng Prison (Chinese: 赤峰监狱) , also known as Chifeng Fourth Prison (Chinese: 赤峰第四监狱) , is located in the Songshan District of Chifeng , Inner Mongolia, China. The total area is 164,335 m² (1,769,001 sq ft), including facilities for inmates, police officers, armed police, and other auxiliary buildings.[1] The access control system uses dual iris image recognition technology.[2]
History
Chifeng Prison was established in August 1951. It was formerly known as the Second Prison of Rehe[3] and was renamed Chifeng Prison in 1995.
