Chingford United FC[1] started out in the 1997–98 season in the Spartan South Midlands League and has since re-established itself in 2019, by Mihai-Alexandru Radoi.[2][3][4] Chingford United FC was re-founded mainly for the Romanian Community in Chingford, London which is under-represented.

In their first season, Chingford United started off in Division One of The Essex Alliance Football League and placed themselves in 9th place, missing relegation by one point.

Ground

Chingford United currently play their home games at Low Hall Sports Ground, in Leyton, however, the club is considering a move closer to home, in Chingford.

History

After starting off in 1997 as Chingford United, the club rapidly changed its name to Chingford Town, and in 2017, after the re-establishment, the club was known as FC RED DOGS. This name change once again lasted less than a year, and in 2018, at the start of the football season, we were back to Chingford United.
