Chinmay Patwardhan

Chinmay Patwardhan is an Indian actor in Marathi cinema and television. He is played Madhavrao Peshwa in the Colors Marathi historical drama Swamini.[1]

Career

Patwardhan made his acting debut as a child artist in Subhash Ghai's Hindi film Yuvvraaj (2008).[citation needed] Although his debut was in a Hindi production, he subsequently moved into Marathi cinema, appearing in the short films Pizza (2008) and Santosh Ram's highly appreciated Vartul (2009).[citation needed]

In 2018, he appeared in director Ajay Naik's college drama Hostel Days, alongside Aaroh Velankar, Prarthana Behere, Aishwarya Kapare, Akshay Tanksale and Ankita Lande.[citation needed] This was followed by a role as a kabaddi player in Sur Sapata (2019).[citation needed]

In an interview with The Times of India, Patwardhan spoke about how the role gave him a distinct identity and public recognition.[1]
