Chinor jome mosque – is located in Andijan region and was built in 1907 by a man named Muqdin halfa. Until 1936, neighborhood prayer workers were praying in the mosque building. Then the city's mayor, Obidov. K, said that the Chinor mosque was commissioned for use, saying that it would be given to the neighborhood people for use as a mosque by his 57th order on April 27, 1992.[1]
At the moment, the building of the mosque is presented in the traditional Oriental and Uzbek style and has one small room and two small towers.[2] The mosque is tailored for more than 800 Muslims. The mosque is under the care of the Muslim Office of Uzbekistan. Taraweeh prayers lift the spirit. Particularly, in the Eid salah.[3]
The mosque is in the center of Andijan city and its name is said to have a maple tree nearby on the area of the mosque, hence the name is "Chinor" jome mosque.
