Chloe (born November 14, 1971) is an American pornographic actress, nude model and director.

Early life[edit]

Chloe was born in Thousand Oaks, California. She is of Italian and Irish descent and was raised Catholic. She has described herself as having been an over-imaginative child, with more imaginary friends than real ones. She practiced classical ballet for 10 years[1] from age 6 into her teenage years and dreamed of becoming a professional ballerina. She quit at age 17 due to developing arthritis in her hips and to feeling exhausted.

She says she lost her virginity aged 11 with her 15-year-old boyfriend.[2] In first grade, an accident damaged her clitoris. She has stated it is "always hard but I don't feel anything".[3] However, she is still able to orgasm through stimulation of her g-spot, which often involves inserting large, wide objects into her vagina, and she has stated "the deeper the better".[3] She appeared in a controversial double-fisting scene with fellow porn actress Alisha Klass in Seymore Butts' video Tampa Tushy Fest 1.[4] The film won the "Best All-Girl Sex Scene – Video" award at the 2000 AVN Awards.[5]

When she was 17 she began using drugs, mainly amphetamine.[1] At the age of 18 she moved to Riverside, California, where she first worked as a dental assistant. She also worked as a waitress, and eventually became a roadie for the rock band Poison. In 1996, her boyfriend at the time had friends in the adult industry and introduced her to them.[2] At 20, Chloe began injecting heroin, and did not quit until 1999.[1]

Adult film[edit]

Chloe began her adult career in 1995. She has commented that during her first porn shoot, she was "on drugs...and didn't care".[3] Early on she appeared in mostly gonzo hardcore movies. In 2001, Chloe signed an exclusive contract with the adult film company VCA Pictures.[3]

Chloe is involved with the Los Angeles Needle Exchange, a program designed to combat the spread of AIDS and other diseases by providing IV drug users with clean hypodermic needles, as well as offering support and referral to support groups and drug rehabilitation programs. She is also involved with the Adult Industry Medical Health Care Foundation (AIM), an organization that provides testing and treatment for AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. She is a strong supporter of practices preventing the spread of STDs, as she is known in the industry for having a policy requiring use of condoms for straight scenes.[3] In a 2000 interview she said "All of my orgasms are real. The day that I have to fake an orgasm will be the last day that I work".[2]

She has a few adult novelty toy lines which she endorses. The most noted is a toy called The Fist of Fury. It was molded from Chloe's closed fist and forearm, due to her numerous popular fisting videos.[3] She has commented that, "In every scene that I do there is a fisting going on the viewer just doesn't get to see it. The distributors are very paranoid about putting something like this out."[2]

In 2003 Chloe hosted the 20th Annual Adult Video News (AVN) AVN Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada. A multiple AVN Award winner herself, she has also appeared in several cable movies and specials on MTV, VH-1, and Showtime. She has a filmography of over 450 movies.

She also stars and sings in the adult film Veronica Hart's Misty Beethoven: The Musical, a musical remake of Henry Paris' famous 1976 adult film The Opening of Misty Beethoven.

Chloe hosts a radio show on KSEX. On 11 January 2005, she stated during the show that she had overdosed four times during her life, twice on heroin and twice on cocaine.[6]

She has directed films for VCA Pictures (Chloe's What Makes You Cum?) and Elegant Angel (Chloe's I Came, Did You?).[2]

In a 2001 interview with Martin Amis Chloe revealed that "I like to be peed on. I like being spat on: it feels like cum on your chest. I like to be choked. I like to be fisted. For vaginal I prefer a girthy kind of dick." "For anal I prefer a longer, thinner kind of dick. "No. Come to think of it, I get two thick ones. I like to feel crammed."[1] She also stated that unlike most female pornstars her parents approve of her work,[1] however she said of porn actresses, "We're prostitutes . . . There are differences. You can choose your partners, and they're tested for AIDS – you won't get your john to do that. But we're prostitutes: we exchange sex for money."[1]

She was offered a part in a production of Lady Chatterley's Lover, however, was fired when the producers learned of her porn background.[2] She has also produced and sang on a single called "Harder" by Sabateur, which is on the compilation CD Porn to Rock, an album of tracks which feature various porn stars.[2]
