She has kept her presence in social media by recording covers and by writing and composing songs. She currently is an avid blogger on Instagram and TikTok and is known to be responsive and friendly with her fans. Her style is categorized as Alternative rock/Indie rock, but her music is infused by multiple music genres, and she calls her style Trance Rock.

Acting Career[edit]

Cho Colette is mainly known for her facial expression in comedies. Her most recent TV mini-series performance was the lead role of "auditioning for Kate" in Cannolli's Comeback Part 2 [1]. The TV series is still underproduction (IMDb credit to be added soon). She has also been acting in Eliana Ghen's Acting Classes (2020) on Zoom. She is currently auditioning for roles.

Personal Life and Studies[edit]

Cho Colette moved to United States in 2011 when she started college, majoring in Physics and Mathematics and receiving her BA. Later she worked in Harvard University in the Physics and Chemistry departments in 2016, after which she started graduate school in Physics at Tufts University. After she received her Master of Science degree in Physics at Tufts, she has become a particle physicist at CERN in 2018. She has been continuing her studies for a Ph.D. at Tufts and collaborating with CERN since. Her friendly and humorous appearance have been associated with her diagnosis with ADHD when she was in college. She also has been diabetic since childhood, as she revealed in her songs.

Early Music Education and Performances[edit]

She started her music training very early with classical piano, later learning the violin, the electric guitar, and drums. She has performed as a pianist in Boléro, when she was in primary school, at the Ufuk College (renamed later as "Şehit Coşkun Nazilli İlkokulu") in Alanya, Turkey; she performed as a soprano in an opera production of Carmina Burana, when she was in middle school, at the Antalya Cultural Center in Antalya, Turkey. She also had a leading performance as the Butler and a dancing and singing performance as one of Joseph's brothers' wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in a production at the Koc School in Istanbul, Turkey.

Music Career[edit]

Cho Colette’s Music career took off in 2016 when she published her covers on SoundCloud. Her Social Media appearance became prominent in 2018 and later. Her debut Album “Her Kooky Ways” (2020) was published in all social media channels, including Apple Music, iTunes, TikTok, and Spotify. Likewise, she published her single “Hope” (2020) in all platforms. As explained in a music-review of "Hope", the song carries a real-life story about losing a loved one to Covid-19, she has dedicated it to everyone affected by the Corona virus. The music video for “Hope” became nominated for the International Independent Music Video Awards 2020 [2] and was the first song of hers to be published on the Radio, at WNIR.

Her music is influenced by American hip hop, European alternative rock, Trance music, and melodies from the Arabic peninsula. Her style is categorized by Google as Alternative rock/Indie rock, but her music is infused by multiple music genres around globe, and she names her style to be "Trance Rock". Her songs are known to be politically engaging and she emphasizes femininity without giving in power. Her bitter but sweet verses are inspired by her childhood struggles with abusive male presence, Turkey's mercurial political structure, as well as her single-life struggles in American cities while she built her life.

She has composed and produced most of her music, including all of the songs in “Her Kooky Ways” and including “Hope”. She has published covers and collaborations on her SoundCloud page. In an interview with Her Song Music Blog, she has mentioned that she is looking for more collaborations. She works solo as a musician and artist but collaborates with her team names Team Choco, a music management duo, who support her with her promotions and media appearance. She supports free music and has not, as known, made money out of her music or musical appearances [3].
