Choba, Port Harcourt
- What issue was said that hasn't been addressed? I have addressed all the issues and the last from Dan arndt also while visiting your talk page regarding this concern. I wonder how you got a reviewer page right with so many issues of speedy deletion of pages you created, Sockpuppetry Warning, and AFD of pages you moved without review. I learnt actions from Praxidicae regarding creating articles, and I think your actions on Wikipedia need to be watchlist. Also, do read comments on pages before making final decisions; you were granted a right that doesn’t mean it should be misused, and one more last thing: you aren’t above helping articles if they meet the general notability guidelines, just like the way Reading Beans helps.Gabrielt@lk 09:37, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you Dan arndt, I have looked at those places Borokiri, Port Harcourt and Diobu, Port Harcourt and I know them well. They are neighborhoods just like Choba. I was actually having a little misunderstanding of what to call it, but now I understand. Also, I just remembered it wasn’t a border but a checkpoint while traveling. Thank you for this correction; I do appreciate it.Gabrielt@lk 10:26, 13 September 2022 (UTC)

Choba or Choba, Port Harcourt is a neighborhood in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.[1][2] It is located 16 km (9.9 mi) to the northwest of the Port Harcourt central business district, on the eastern bank of the New Calabar River.
Choba was originally a Ikwerre village on the outer fringes of Port Harcourt, governed by a paramount king. The current king is Eze Raymond Echendu.[3] As Port Harcourt has expanded, Choba has been assimilated into the greater city area. Choba is one of 17 electoral wards administered by the Obio-Akpor Local Government Council. The population in 1991, according to the national census, was 10,968; in 1996, it was estimated to have increased to 12,980, and 27,253 in 2008.[4]
It has a straight road which leads to a checkpoint heading to[5] other states in Nigeria such as Bayelsa State and Delta State to the west. [6]
Education
In 1975, the University of Port Harcourt was established in Choba.[4] It is now one of the major contributors to the local economy and the area's population growth.
