Chong Hsun

Chong Hsun was a Chinese American football player in the 1890s. He played for and coached the Nanchang Qilin, and the Shanghai Tigers, playing as a halfback and defensive tackle.

Hsun is famous for running for an astounding 15 touchdowns in a game. He also organized eight American football teams in China and later for making a league known as the Chinese League of Coastal China.

Hsun died in 1963.

Teams played for included:

  • 1892-1893: Beijing Owls
  • 1894-1900: Nanchang Qilin
  • 1901-1903: Shanghai Tigers
