Chongqing Rich Football Club, (simplified Chinese: 重庆润棋足球俱乐部; traditional Chinese: 重慶潤棋足球俱樂部; pinyin: Chóngqìng Rùnqí Zúqiú Jùlèbù) officially known as Chongqing Runqi Football Club, is a football club based in Chongqing, China. Formerly known as Runqi Holding Football Club, the organization was founded by a group of football enthusiasts.[1]
History
The club's foundation dates back to August 8, 2010, when a group of football fans came together to create a new club. Initially operating under the name Runqi Holding Football Club, the organization became part of the football scene in Chongqing.[2][3][4]
On July 26, 2017, the club was officially incorporated as Chongqing Runqi Sports and Culture Industry Co., Ltd., marking a formal step in its development. In 2022, the club was rebranded and renamed Chongqing Rich Football Club.[citation needed]
