Chris Avantgarde
Christian Vornweg.[1], professionally known as Chris Avantgarde[2] is a recording artist, record producer & composer from Germany who currently resides in London, UK.
His credits include work for artists such as Scooter,[3] Alice Chater & others. His clients as a composer in trailer and scoring work include Columbia Pictures[4], HBO[5], Microsoft Xbox[6], Netflix[7], Showtime & Warner Bros. Pictures[8].
He has also released official remixes for artists such as The Prodigy[9] and Billie Eilish[10]
Career
As a teenager, Vornweg moved to Hamburg where he worked as a studio assistant and later co-writer & co-producer[11] for German band Scooter while also releasing Progressive House and Electro House records under his Chris Avantgarde moniker through labels such as Kontor Records & Armada Music.
After moving to London in 2012, from where he continued to release electronic music as Chris Avantgarde on labels such as Steve Angello's SIZE Records[12], Claude VonStroke's Dirtybird Records[13], Interscope Records/Insomniac[14][15] and others, he started his record label VNTGRD ("Avantgarde", formerly stylized AVANT/GARDE), which has released a wide range of electronic music between 2014 and 2018.
Vornweg has since established a presence in sync & trailer music and is working as a songwriter & producer in sessions with a variety of artists and songwriters. He is currently published by Silo: Music in Los Angeles and Ultra Music Publishing.
