Chris Barnard (executioner)

Chris Barnard (died between 1990[1] and 2008)[2][3] was a South African executioner during the Apartheid Era. He executed around 1,500 [4] people between 1962 and 1986. Most of his executions were conducted on ordinary murderers.[5] He has been deceased for quite some time.[6]
