Chris Craggs
Chris Craggs is a British rock climbing professional, best known for authoring dozens of guidebooks containing detailed topo/crag photo illustrations of many climbing sites and routes in England and other European countries.[1][2] Craggs' guidebooks have been praised by specialists, and distinguished with prizes such as the Best Book Award in the Mountain Exposition category at the Banff Mountain Book Festival in 2008,[3] and the Guidebook of the Year Award by the Outdoor Writers and Photographers Guild in 2002 and 2009.[4] Craggs has also published numerous illustrated articles about climbing destinations in print magazines and specialised blogs.[5] Being a rock climber himself,[6] Craggs' 35K photo collection now makes part of the English Lake District Mountain Heritage Trust collection.[7]
