He studied at the University of Burundi but did not complete his studies due to a massacre at the university in 1995. Subsequently, he attempted to continue his education in South Africa, but this did not materialize. Ultimately, he began working in the mineral trade in the Democratic Republic of Congo where he was almost assassinated and was detained in a military camp because he was thought to be a military spy but finally, he was released. He later understood that it was God who wanted to train him through all those hard times.[2]
