Chris Carcetti (born November 20, 1989),known professionally as Chris Savage,is an American rapper.

Early Life[edit]

Born in St. Louis, MO on November 20th, 1989, his drug-infested surroundings, alongside turbulent times, would deeply shape his youth. Chris would soon lose his father at 2yrs old due to a senseless shooting at a party resulting in his father’s unsolved murder. This would cause Chris and his mother to wind up moving a lot.During his youth, Chris was in and out schools and juvenile detention centers, where he was taught not only the system, but also independence. Looked at by his peers as a rebel, he soon turned his street reputation into leadership skills, gathering other youth from his area to join him in various activities.

Personal Life[edit]

To Chris, it was about more than just drug dealing or violence, he had found a way to create his own extended family. Throughout the years of his youth to present day, Chris has remained a leader in his community. After several arrests Chris decided to pursue other legal ventures for revenue. One of his ventures, which also had been a deep passion to Chris, was music.

Career[edit]

As an act of faith, Chris decided to leave St. Louis and pursue a music career in Los Angeles. Chris would soon be paying dues as an artist in Los Angeles, working with various talents from mega producer Scott Storch, to underground Hip Hop star King Lil G. At this point, Chris has successfully completed his first release “True Story”, which features some of the realities of Chris’ life and community.

Following up with his most recent video release for the track "Gangsta How It Is", Chris' music is more than just lyrics. His experiences before music will allow him to have longevity throughout the extent of his musical career. Chris understands that stars aren’t created over-night, and is willing to go through the process of development and investment to achieve results. In his mind, he has already overcome things in life that most people haven’t, so the music industry is viewed as another challenge to be aggressively pursued.

In his words “There ain’t shit that can’t be accomplished.”
