Chrissie Reidy (born 12 March 1973 in Birmingham) is an English journalist and presenter, employed by BBC South East.
Broadcast journalism[edit]
Reidy began her career at BBC Radio WM as a News Broadcast Assistant and was the Flying Eye Reporter at BRMB Radio, Birmingham.
From October 2007 until February 2009 she was a news reporter for ITV News Central on ITV Central based in Nottingham. She also appeared as a news reporter for Calendar on ITV Yorkshire in autumn 2008.
In July 2009 she joined South East Today on BBC South East, reporting on a wide range of news stories across Kent and Sussex, as well as newsreading.[1][2]
Weather presenting[edit]
Reidy began weather presenting for the national ITV Weather in 2001, however in July 2005 she moved to ITV News London on ITV London as a news reporter and weather presenter, where she remained for four years.
