Christina Lecuyer
Christina Lecuyer is a former professional golfer and television personality who provides coaching services focused on improving confidence and mindset. She has appeared on golf-related television programs including The Big Break.
Early Life
Christina Lecuyer was born in Edmonton, Alberta, into a family deeply rooted in golf. Her father, a member of the PGA of Alberta, worked as the head golf professional and superintendent at a local golf course where Lecuyer spent much of her childhood.[1][2]
Lecuyer's involvement in golf began as a teenager while working at the Derrick Golf and Winter Club. It was during this time that she honed her skills by playing money games and observing other players.[3] Lecuyer advanced through the amateur golf circuit in Edmonton and earned a full scholarship to play collegiate golf for the University of Central Arkansas (UCA).[4] While at UCA, Lecuyer achieved five collegiate tournament victories, 24 Top Ten finishes, three All-Conference selections, and two All-American honorable mentions.[5][6][7][8][9] She was also named a second-team Academic All-American by ESPN The Magazine.[10][11] In 2005, Lecuyer led her team to victory in the Gulf South Conference championship and qualified for the 2006 NCAA Regionals.[3]
Her family’s golfing legacy extended to her younger brothers, Ryan and Steven, who have competed in both amateur and professional golf events.[12] In 2003, Ryan won the Canadian Junior Boys Golf Championship[13] while Steven secured back-to-back victories at the Vancouver Open in 2022 and 2023.[14]
Professional Golf Career
After completing her collegiate career, Lecuyer transitioned to professional golf, competing in various mini tours across North America. She reached the final stage of LPGA qualifying school on three consecutive occasions.[4][5]
Lecuyer's professional golf career also included appearances on several Golf Channel series[4][15] including two seasons of The Big Break and co-hosting Swing Clinic with Jimmy Hanlin of FOX Sports.[12] On The Big Break, Lecuyer placed 4th in the Ka'anapali season, and she contributed to the girls team's victory in the Dominican Republic season by making the final putt.[4][16]

Coaching Career
Following her television appearances, Lecuyer was frequently invited to play golf at corporate and charity events. These opportunities evolved into speaking arrangements and informal coaching sessions, during which Lecuyer shared advice on business and personal development.[1][3]
She later established a coaching business focused on helping clients develop clarity and confidence. Her coaching framework, "Decision Faith & Action," is designed to support entrepreneurs, business executives, and athletes in achieving their goals.[17][18][19]
Although Lecuyer retired from professional golf, she continues to participate in philanthropic golf events, contributing to various charitable causes.[3][20][21][22]
Podcast
In 2021, Lecuyer launched the Decide It's Your Turn™ podcast, which covers topics such as success and personal fulfillment across all aspects of life, with Lecuyer sharing her experiences and insights. Early guests on the podcast included ten-time Grammy nominee Jamey Johnson, Fox News host Tomi Lahren, and Netflix CMO Bozeman Saint John.[23][24][25]
Lecuyer has also appeared as a guest on various podcasts where she shares her expertise in building confidence and self-development.
