Zhang Meng . (Chinese: 张萌 , born 16 May 1986 in Liaoning), also known as Christina Zhang, is a Chinese writer, a female writer from Mainland China. She won first place in the 2008 "APEC Voice of the Future" national selection competition hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.[1] and was invited to participate in APEC Peru 2008[2][3].
Education
Zhang Meng studied at Zhejiang University and then Beijing Normal University, where she received her undergraduate and doctorate degrees.
Career
Zhang Meng won the National Scholarship in 2007.
She won first place in the 2008 "APEC Voice of the Future" national selection competition[4][1].
She served as 2008 Summer Olympics torch bearer in 2008.[5]
In 2012, as a representative of Chinese youth, she welcomed the visit of British Prime Minister David Cameron .[6]
In 2021, Zhang Meng was invited to participate in the Group of Twenty (G20) roundtable dialogue.
Zhang Meng was selected for the 2022 large-scale photo and essay collection "Building Dreams in Beijing"[7]
