Christine Lee Hanson (February 22, 1999 – September 11, 2001) was an American girl who was the youngest victim of the September 11 attacks, aged two and a half.
Life
Christine Lee Hanson was born in Massachusetts, on February 22, 1999, to Peter Hanson and Sue Kim Hanson.[1]
Death
Hanson and her parents were planning to visit their relatives, as well as go to Disneyland, much to Christine’s excitement. Their flight was initially scheduled to be on September 10, but due to Peter having work obligations, it was moved to September 11 the following day. Christine, along with both of her parents, were killed when United Airlines Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City at 9:03 a.m.[2]

In 2014, Hanson's Peter Rabbit stuffed animal was donated to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.[3]
Hanson's name is located on Panel S-4 of the National September 11 Memorial's South Pool.
