The Christophe Guye Galerie is a contemporary art gallery based in Zurich (Switzerland), representing national and international artists with a focus on photography.[1]
The gallery was founded by Christophe Guye (formerly of Scalo Guye Gallery) in 2006 in Los Angeles. It has been located in Zurich since 2010.[1] The gallery and guest curators organise some five to seven solo and group exhibitions a year.[1] The gallery has taken part in the art fairs Photo London,[2] Paris Photo,[3] and Unseen Photo Fair.[4]
The gallery exhibited at the Photo London art fair in 2015. Darius Himes, International Head of Photographs at Christie's, described the gallery's selection as leaning "towards a more conceptual, contemporary aesthetic", with work from Japanese photographers such as Rinko Kawauchi and Risaku Suzuki.[5]
