Christopher Bryde
Christopher Bryde is an American film producer,[2][3] artist, decorated Operation Enduring Freedom veteran and retired U.S. Marine Corporal,[4][5] Purple Heart recipient,[6] [7]athlete,[8] outdoorsman,[9] and double amputee.[10] He is an alumnus of Portland Community College, graduated in 2019 with an Associate Degree in Science, an Associate's in General Studies, a Focus Award in Creative Writing, and with Phi Theta Kappa membership. Also in 2019, he produced and acted in his first film—a documentary about his Marine light infantry unit, 2nd Battalion 7th Marines (2/7), titled The Forgotten Battalion.[11] The film was made in conjunction with a film team from Winter State Entertainment and director Dr. Mark A. Smith,[12] was distributed by Gravitas Ventures, and released November 24, 2020.[13]
In 2019 he moved to London, England and enrolled in a Creative and Professional Writing BA (Hons) programme at St. Mary's University Twickenham London, in the borough of Richmond upon Thames. While at St. Mary's he founded the St. Mary's University Fishing Society,[14][15] became a patron of Shakespeare's Globe,[16] and founded Strawberry Hill Productions in London.[17][18]
