Christopher Nilsen

Christopher "Chris" Nilsen (born January 13th 1998) is an American pole vaulter who is currently a senior at Park Hill High School in Kansas City,MO. As a senior he became the 10th high-schooler ever to vault 18 feet,[1] in the same year he broke the national high school record for pole vault with a vault of 18 feet 4.75 inches,[2] he also broke the meet record at the Kansas Relays that had stood for 36 years with a vault of 17 feet 6.5 inches.[3] He will attend the University of South Dakota.[4]
