Christopher Scott is a rock and metal singer songwriter for the bands Precious Death and Blackball. He is known for soaring operatic power and blues based riffs. His lyrics have been taken as "christian" and spiritual, saying "I write about every facet of life without forcing any specific message - and how could I do that and leave out God, life, death, love and the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead? We need to sing from time to time about purpose and ultimate meaning and when we do, we are always writing theology."

He started out working in the T.V. studios in Hollywood while still a teenager on shows like Soul Train, Top of the Pops (America with Nia Peeples), Jeopardy and Throb (with Paul Walker). During that time he had the opportunity to work with some of the most influential artists including Joe Cocker, Bob Hope and Gene Simmons. He spent several seasons working on The People's Court back in the days with Judge Wapner.

His formal training was by multi-platinum recording artist Mark Slaughter, who went on to sing for the Vinnie Vincent Invasion. He taught Christopher the rudiments of blues and soul and added to his style in a way that never left him.

Early on he recorded with Knightfall and Death By Numbers (formerly London Grey) before meeting David Bishop, Andy Koehler and Roger Sampson through the guidance of Pastor Bob Beeman at Sanctuary Church in Torrance, CA. The group became "Precious Death" and wrote the award winning "Southpaw" album garnering 2 Los Angeles Music Awards and being nominated for 2 Dove Awards by the Gospel Music Association. He and David Bishop later recorded the "Blackball" albums with Lorenzo Mauro, Tom Barber and Rocco Sigonas.
