Ciara Short (born March 11, 1989) is an American athlete who specializes in the 400m.[1] She is an All-American for Cal State Fullerton. Short currently resides in Los Angeles, California working as a professional sprinter and model. In 2017 Ciara was mentioned in the Orange County Register[2].
Personal life[edit]
She is also a full-time model signed with Wilhelmina Models in Los Angeles and New York City.[3] She has been featured in some of the worlds most prestigious magazines and campaigns. She was featured in a full spread in the Muscle and Fitness Hers magazine in 2018. She is one of the only professional Track and Field Athletes to cross over into the fashion world.

Collegiate[edit]
Short the most Decorated Athlete in the history of Cal State Fullerton Athletics. She is the Eight-Time School Record Holder in the Women's Indoor 60m, 200m, 400m, and Outdoor 100m, 200m, 400m, and 4x1m Relay, 4x4m Relays. Her 2011 Fifth-Place finish at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships is the highest finish by a Titan, male or female. Short is a Five-Time Big West Conference Champion between the years 2010-2011. She was announce Big West Athlete of the year (MVP) in 2010 and 2011. As a Collegiate, Short competed at the 2010 U.S.A Indoor National Championships Placing 4th, and the U.S.A Outdoor National Championships advancing to the Semi-Finals; which are two more first by a Cal State Fullerton Titan Athlete. In 2011 she represented team USA in the Pan American Games, and in 2012 she Qualified for the Olympic Trails advancing to semi-finals.[4]
