Circonus is an American enterprise software and solutions startup. The company's flagship product, by the same name, is a real-time monitoring and analytics platform.
In recent years the company has become increasingly involved with business metrics and analysis.[1]

The company was spun off from the consulting company OmniTI in 2010 to focus on operations monitoring and business analytics products.[2][3]
In 2016 The company secured an unspecified amount of venture capital from NewSpring Capital in 2016 in order to expand operations and roll out new features.[4]
Products[edit]
The Circonus monitoring platform is a monitoring service for cloud-scale applications, providing monitoring of servers, databases, tools, and services, through a SaaS-based data analytics platform.[5]
IRONdb is a time-series database developed by Circonus. It is optimized for fast, high-availability storage and retrieval of time-series data in fields such as operations monitoring, application metrics, Internet of Things sensor data, and real-time analytics. It also has native support for storing histograms[6][7] and can directly process data from Graphite.[8][9][10]
