Cities War is a free to play massively multiplayer online persistent browser-based strategy game developed by the solo developer WillyBBBC. Cities War was first released in 2018.
Unlike many browser games, there is no set goal. The game is played on an infinite-round basis—there are no resets planned.
Gameplay
Cities War is set in a persistent world – when a player logs out, the game continues. Players start with nothing and expand their power and influence by building armies and conquering new cities. The game has over 8000 cities which can be conquered by players.
There are seven basic resources: Oil, Food, Steel, Rare, Uranium, Gold and Gems. Oil, Food, Steel, Rare and Uranium are generated by each mine type respectively. Gold can be generated through taxing mines or citizens, as well as selling other resources. Gems can be acquired through different means. Steel, Rare, Gold and Uranium are used to construct weapons while Food and Oil are used to maintain the weapons and army.
