CityGro[edit]

CityGro is a marketing automation platform focused on retention marketing. The platform includes: customer data collection tools, digital loyalty programs, digital waivers, automated marketing campaigns, SMS marketing and email marketing.

History[edit]

CityGro is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. CityGro was founded in 2009 in Cache Valley by Jon Parrish, Steven Russell and Ben Oman with a goal to strengthen the relationship between businesses and their customers by allowing businesses to better communicate with their customers.

In 2010, Ben Oman joined the team as CityGro’s chief technology officer  and developed enhanced abilities for businesses to text and email their customers. This was followed by new technology to capture customer data and automate marketing messages based on the customers’ interaction with the company.
