CitySpidey CitySpidey (www.cityspidey.com) is a community news and lifestyle platform working in and around the National Capital Region of Delhi, comprising Delhi, NOIDA, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida West, Faridabad and Gurugram. Since 2016, it has earned a good reputation in covering issues relating to community reporting, reviews and articles on health, music, travel, entertainment, and education.

History

It is owned by Steve Medius Private Limited (www.stevemedius.com) promoted by Bhakt Mohan Pun, incorporated on 25th October 2013 at New Delhi. It covers stories that mainstream media, TV and print, normally avoid or don’t cover due to other preoccupations. It has reported on civic and citizen issues like bad roads, water supply issues, builder-buyer issues etc. Their reporting followed up by seeking answerability from the concerned authorities and addressing resolution of the problem.

CitySpidey has lately been active on Instagram and Facebook with lighter content, perhaps aiming at a younger generation.

Citizen Journalism: ‘Resident Speak’ allows the vocal voices in the neighbourhood to express themselves about the problems in their area. This effort also involves finding local community heroes and good Samaritans.
