Claess & Willumsen

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Claess and Willumsen is a Danish band featuring Claess Sørensen and Pelle Willumsen. The debut album No Receipt was released in 2007. The band recorded and produced their own album using garage sale equipment and a single microphone bought from a Danish composer leaving for Hollywood. Despite the obstacles, some of the songs found their way to US television and Danish radio. The album was released online worldwide, and some songs have sold in Canada, Germany, and the USA. The song "Someday", also known as "I'll find my way someday", was featured in the American television series Army Wives on Lifetime Television. In 2007, Claess & Willumsen signed a contract with NOMA Music.

The ABC television series Eli Stone featured the song "I Can Taste Love"[1], also known as "All the things we didn't say", by Claess & Willumsen in Episode 9, Season 1 - List of Eli Stone episodes. The Danish band was discovered on the social networking site MySpace by NOMA Music. NOMA Music was searching for artists influenced by and sounding like Jack Johnson, for placement in television on the Lifetime network. During 2008, the band received airplay on the Danish national radio network, in Britain, and Norway. The band signed a publishing deal with Levy Music Publishing in 2010.
