Clancy Engineering
Clancy Engineering is a multi-disciplinary engineering company based in Moscow with additional office in Helsinki. It was founded in 2008 by John Mark Clancy, an Irish structural engineer.

Throughout 1998-2008, which is the period of the greatest building boom in Ireland, John Mark Clancy, the founder and the general director of Clancy Engineering, had worked in numerous projects of apartments, offices, shopping centres, hospitals, roads and other infrastructure facilities across Europe, including Ireland, England, Poland, Russia; Australia, the USA and Canada. Experience and qualification received during this period, including years in Buro Happold, helped John Mark to open office with a team of Russian and Irish engineers in Moscow in 2002. In 2008 the design team settled in Moscow to have the opportunity to fill the market request for adjusting international concept developments to Russian norms and standards, as well as international.
Clancy Engineering's first major commissions were The Fashion House Outlet (2008) in Moscow and COMCITY (2010) in Skolkovo, which upon completion became the largest office park in Europe of more than 300 000 square meters of office and retail space.
Numerous projects of various use were realised in the next few years: luxury private residences (2010 and 2011), 4* and 3* Ibis and Adagio Hotels in Kaluga (2012), Kronospan factory (2014-2016) and Logistic Park in Norilsk (2012), Spanish Quarter in New Moscow, a large-scale residential development (2013), MARI - a huge shopping mall in Moscow (2014), etc.
Clancy Engineering was participating and nominated grants in a number of international competitions, including Science and Technology museum in Tomsk, Olonkho Land in Yakutsk and Brilliant High-rise in Khabarovsk.
Since 2016 Clancy Engineering has became a general designer of complex territory development in Novosibirsk (Evropeysky Bereg), elaborated detailed conceptual design for 250m high-rise iCITY in Moscow, developed Permit documentation for BVLGARI Hotel Moscow, Construction documentation for Entertainment park Dream Island, full-scope design for Radisson Blu Hotel on Leninsky prospect in Moscow and many more other significant projects.
Primary mission of Clancy Engineering is to guarantee that internationally developed architectural concepts were not compromised during adaptation, design development and construction on the territory of Russian Federation.

John Mark Clancy is a leader, owner and a general manager of the company.
Clancy Engineering maintains offices in Moscow and Helsinki.
Concept Development Department was established in 2016 to provide best world practises to unique buildings. The core of the devision is formed from the permanent employees with involvement of international experts from Chicago, New York, HongKong, Berlin, Helsinki and Dublin. Following concept designs has been produced by this department:

- Radisson Blu Hotel by Blank Architects in Moscow (2019)
- BVLGARI Hotel Moscow by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel (2018)
- Grozny Mall by Blank Architects in Grozny (2016)
- Evropeysky Bereg Residential Complex by JEMS, KCAP and DROM in Novosibirsk (2015-2018)
