Clandestine Brewing Company is a brewery company in San Jose, California founded in 2014.[1] Clandestine is San Jose's first and only Nanobrewery.
Overview[edit]
Clandestine was founded in 2013 in San Jose, California by co-founders Adrian & Christine Kalaveshi, Rob Conticello, Colin Kelly, and Dwight Mulcahy. Work on the brewery & tasting room was completed in late May 2014 and the tasting room opened to the public on May 30, 2014.
Production[edit]
Clandestine brews all beers served in their tasting room on a sub-1BBL Blichmann Engineering BoilerMaker brew system. Brewing duties are shared by all 5 of the founders.
Distribution[edit]
Currently, all beer is sold through their tasting room.
Beers[edit]
Clandestine's founders are avid homebrewers who continue to experiment. In their first three months in business, over 40 different beers were served in the tasting room. Adrian, Christine, Rob, Colin, & Dwight plan to continue brewing new and exciting beers, alcoholic and non-alcoholic sodas, and meads.
Location[edit]
The brewery is in an industrial park at 1805 Little Orchard Street in San Jose, tucked away in the back corner in suite 124. The brewery is also down the street from The Plant shopping center, and relatively close to the Tamien Light Rail & Caltrain stations.
