Clifton Roberts
Clifton Roberts (born September 24, 1967) is a Silicon Valley tech executive with Intel Corporation, a civil rights leader, an animal rights activist, an environmentalist, and an experienced board member of multiple not-for-profit organizations[1][2]
Politics[edit]
Roberts, a self-described Constitutionalist, was a 2016 presidential candidate under the Humane Party. Controversially, Roberts has expressed support for remedying what the Humane Party refer to as “the series of unprovoked acts and consequences of transatlantic human slave trade” through the proposed Genocide Recognition and Reparations Act (GRRA).[3]
Roberts's other issues includes: eliminating the U.S. Electoral College[4], ensuring equality under the law[5], cultivating excellence in education, ending unsound criminal investigation, trial, sentencing, and incarceration systems, and enhancing national security while eliminating practices that create profit motives to engage in war.
Non-human Animal Rights Activism[edit]
Roberts, a frequent national/international speaker and writer on the subject of non-human animal rights, [6] seeks to "end the inhumane, scientifically indefensible, and economically unsound exploitation of other species by humans," including legislation like the Humane Party's proposed Abolition Amendment.[7]
Career[edit]
Corporate Experience: Roberts currently serves as a Global Director of Public Policy for Intel Corporation[8] and, by all accounts, has been employed by the firm for 10 years.
Publications: Roberts has authored a variety of works in the fields of technology & public policy[9], animal rights[10], politics, and environmental protection.[11]
