Clover County (born Amandagrace Schiano in 2001) is an American singer-songwriter known for her blend of Americana, indie folk, and dream pop. She performs under the stage name Clover County, a name referencing the variety of places she has lived. Her sound draws on influences such as Stevie Nicks, Carole King, Taylor Swift, Ella Fitzgerald, and Dolly Parton.

Early life and education

Amandagrace Schiano was born in Orange County, Florida. She began writing songs at age 13 and taught herself to play guitar using her father’s collection of 1980s songbooks. She later attended the University of Georgia in Athens, where she became active in the local music scene.[1]

Career

Schiano began performing as Clover County while living in Athens, Georgia. Her genre-blending style, which she has called "bootgazey," incorporates indie rock, folk, country, and dream pop.[2]

Her debut EP, Porch Lights, was released in November 2024. The single "Ultraviolet" received critical praise and peaked at number 22 on the Mediabase Triple A chart.[3][4][5]

Live performances

In January 2025, Clover County headlined a sold-out show at The Basement in Nashville.[6]

She has supported tour dates for artists such as Lord Huron,[7] Medium Build,[8] Shakey Graves, Mon Rovîa, and Morgan Wade.

She performed at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, Georgia, as part of the Vic Chesnutt Songwriter of the Year Awards in May 2025.[9] She also appeared at the 2025 Treefort Music Fest in Boise, Idaho.
