Club Sol de Mayo
The Sol de Mayo Social and Sports Club is an entity of the city of Viedma, capital of the province of Río Negro, Argentina. It has a men's soccer team that currently plays in the Federal A Tournament, the third division of Argentine soccer for teams indirectly affiliated with the AFA. It is also part of Alianza Viedma, which competes in the second category of national basketball.
The soccer team has played the Federal A Tournament since 2018, after having achieved promotion against Ferro de Olavarría in the 2017 Federal B Tournament.
On February 26, 2019, for the Argentine Cup, they eliminated Rosario Central, from the First Division and current champion of said cup, on penalties, after having tied the match.
