Cluj Startups is a Romanian non-governmental organisation founded in 2012, from Cluj-Napoca, Cluj. The main directions are to support startups with workshops, connections, mentoring, to attract external interest towards the local ecosystem, to organize community and educational meetups, to promote events or other opportunities for startups and to provide professional development for the volunteers. It brings together entrepreneurs, offering them programs and contacts in order for them to learn and work towards their greater goals.

Cluj Startups' mission is to support the local startups, events and communities, to create visibility over the ecosystem and to facilitate communication between members, working in the field of entrepreneurship.

Startup of the Week[edit]
- Interviews with startup founders
- Opportunity for companies and startups to present their products, to promote job openings or to attract local interest
GBRC (The Good, the Bad, the Reality Check)[edit]
- Educational event focused on students
- Cluj Startups invites experienced startup founders to share their story and answer student questions
- Usually taking plance in universities in collaboration with student organizations
- Suited for companies that want to get in touch with students whom are interested in entrepreneurship
Startup Europe Week[edit]
- Yearly event supported by EU Commission
- Taking place in 300+ European cities
Mentoring Hours[edit]
- It facilitated meetings between experienced founders, investors, domain experts and startupers who need feedback
- In 2017 happened nine editions with local and international mentors
- Companies can propose mentors from the company with expertise in a field, connected to startups
