Michael “Mike” Franklin Miller (born August 1, 1964) in Hollywood, CA, is finishing his 5th year as head basketball coach for University of Los Angeles College of Divinity (ULACD) following three years of service as CBA Commissioner and head coach. Miller completed high school in 1982 graduating Crescenta Valley High in the Crescenta California, though his first two high school years were spent at Creighton Prep, Omaha. From there coach Mike attended Glendale Community College from which he earned an AA degree in humanities in 1985. Two years later, Mike graduated Cal State Los Angeles with a BA in English.
In 1992 Mike graduated with a Masters of education from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California. This same university provided him the opportunity to earn an MS in physical education in 2010. Finally, in 2016 Mike earned a PhD in religious studies from United States Ecclesiastical Society and Seminary in Los Angeles California.
Miller served as Head Coach and Athletic Director at Los Angeles City College (LACC) for a record-breaking sixteen years wherein he set a new national record of fourteen straight conference championships sharing this achievement with University of Kansas coach Bill self they are the only two coaches that have coached their teams to fourteen straight conference championships in the history of college basketball.
