Coach Randy is an American entrepreneur, student-athlete success strategist, author, speaker, mentor, technology executive, and founder of AthletIQ Connect®, a comprehensive student-athlete success ecosystem dedicated to helping students maximize their potential in academics, athletics, leadership, college admissions, career development, and life readiness.
Widely recognized as a Student-Athlete Success Architect™, Coach Randy has spent more than three decades leading organizations, developing innovative technology solutions, and building high-performing teams across engineering, operations, product management, marketing, and executive leadership. In addition, he has devoted more than fifteen years to mentoring student-athletes and families, helping them navigate college recruiting, scholarships, admissions planning, leadership development, and long-term personal success.
Coach Randy is the creator of the B.U.I.L.T. D1FF3R3NT™ Movement, founder of SoCal Hoops Basketball Academy, author of the Fight ON! Mentality™ book series, and host of the B.U.I.L.T. D1FF3R3NT™ Studio Podcast. His work centers on the belief that success is not accidental but the result of mindset, discipline, systems, accountability, and consistent execution.
Early Life and Education
Coach Randy earned both a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California (USC). His combined background in engineering, business, technology, and leadership became the foundation for his systems-based approach to student development and performance coaching.
