Coldzera

Marcelo "coldzera" David (born October 31, 1994) is a Brazilian professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. He is currently playing for MIBR. He is known as one of the best players in the world, near unmatched in incredible consistency and raw fragging.

Career

In August 2015, Coldzera was hired by the Luminosity Gaming team. His first championship for the new team was the ESL One Cologne 2015, where he managed with his team, move from the group stage and reach the quarterfinals of the championship, but ended up being eliminated by the Swedish team of FNATIC. In November of 2015, its team was in second place.

In 2016, they managed to reach the top of all the championships that participated, even reaching two finals. However, it was only in April that they managed to win the first championship, the MLG Columbus 2016, which is the championship they most wanted. In that championship they won around $500,000. This was the first tier 1 level tournament in which a Brazilian won the championship Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. Subsequently, his team won two more by the Luminosity organization; DreamHack Austin and ESL Pro League Season 3. The last championship of the team for the organization was ECS Season 1, where they were in second place, losing to the G2 Esports team. In July of 2016 the five players who played by Luminosity Gaming were contracted by the organization SK Gaming in which they play until the present time.

The first team championship for the new organization was ESL MAJOR ONE COLOGNE 2016 in July, just days after being announced by SK Gaming. Again, the team managed to stay in first place, becoming bi-champion followed by a Major, a fact that only the Swedish Fnatic team had achieved so far. Coldzera again took the championship MVP award.
