Coles is a brewery and distillery based at White Hart Inn in Llanddarog, Carmarthenshire. It is the first distillery in Wales producing rum, and the third distillery producing whisky, after Penderyn and Da Mhile.[1][2][3]

Background and products

Coles initially started as a brewery in 2011 producing beers and ciders, and in 2017 began producing spirits.[4]

In 2020, with Swansea University, rum production was switched to ethanol in the production of hand sanitiser.[5]
