The Collat School of Business is the business school of the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, United States.[1][2] The school has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students, including undergraduate, graduate, and other professional programs as of Fall 2023.[3] It is the first named school of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in honor of Charles and Patsy Collat, after they donated $25 million in gifts and pledges.[4] [5] The school is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).[6]

Programs

The Collat School of Business offers undergraduate BS programs with majors in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Industrial Distribution, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, and several minors in multiple business disciplines. The school offers graduate programs including an MBA, Master of Accounting (MAcc), and a MS in Management Information Systems. In addition, Collat also offers certificates, professional education, and online programs in undergraduate and graduate studies.[7]

Rankings

The school was ranked 103rd overall by the U.S. News & World Report in 2023[8] in the undergraduate business programs. It was also "Unranked" overall in MBA programs and 98th for Part-Time MBA by the U.S. News & World Report in 2024.[9]
