History[edit]

2010–2015: Formation[edit]

Osman "Ozzy" Leiva and Dave Ohanian met at work in 2010. Dave and Ozzy spent the next two years writing and refining songs which both had prior to meeting. Mark D'Errico was brought in as lead guitar for a short time in 2012 and later brought in Brian Roy on bass guitar. Mark left the band shortly after joining and Brian switched to lead guitar. Shawn Lambert had been friends with Brian in High School and joined the band when he saw an ad on Bandmix Bandmix. Brian left the band shortly after Shawn recruited Liz Rainoldi (2015) as lead vocalist. Shawn then recruited John Mongell (sept 2015) for lead guitar and the band began refining the first 5 songs that would appear on Chaotic Pulse.

2015–Present:[edit]

The band (Ozzy, Shawn, Dave, John, Liz) spent the remainder of 2015 and part of 2016 refining the Chaotic Pulse EP. It was recorded at Woodshop Productions [1] from October 2016-December 2016 and released on April 2017 through Distrokid Distrokid. They spent the summer of 2017 touring around the Boston area. Liz Rainoldi was asked to leave the band in October 2017 and was replaced by Lisa Parella as lead vocalist. Collateral Branch continues to play in and around the Boston area and are working on a new release for Jan 2019.
