Collection Development and Evaluation Section (CODES)

Collection Development and Evaluation Section (CODES) is a section of the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA). Members work in different library settings but have one principal characteristic in common: public services. RUSA is a home to library workers who have direct contact with people. The association serves people in public and academic libraries who provide services including reader advisory, collection access or delivery, electronic tools, first-year success, local history, financial literacy, business formation, or who manage front-line workers. RUSA publishes the Reference & User Services Quarterly.[1]

Membership

RUSA publishes the RUSQ Journal, RUSA Quarterly Update, and documents relevant to professionals working in the field of reference services.[2]
