Colobus Conservation is a not-for-profit conservation organization located in Diani Beach, Kenya, established in 1997 in response to local concerns about the high number of colobus deaths on the Diani Beach road. They work to promote conservation and preservation of primates in the coastal forest habitat of south eastern Kenya. This includes the vulnerable (IUCN link) Angolan colobus monkey (Colobus angolensis palliatus) as well as yellow baboons (Papio cynocephalus), sykes monkeys (Cercopithecus albogularis), vervets (Chlorocebus pygerythrus), and various species of galagos (Galagidae), also known as bush babies.
