Color The Era is the solo project of Filipino musician Ron Pangyarihan. He finds the singer-songwriter embracing his vulnerable and personal side. Pangyarihan released his debut single “Hanggang Kailan” in May 2019.
History[edit]
Rooted in late-'90s alternative rock and campfire-worthy soundtracks, Ron Pangyarihan decided to make music from his vulnerable and personal reflections. Armed with an acoustic guitar and his passion to put the naked honesty of his words into sound, he started his solo project Color The Era. He made his debut with the single “Hanggang Kailan” in May 2019.[1]
Immediately after the release of his guitar-driven acoustic rock debut, Pangyarihan captured the attention of prominent record label Viva Records.[2] With just a single song in his catalog, he secured a major record deal and found a home together with the country’s chart-topping acts. He then released his second single “Hindi Ka Na Mahal” in November 2019.[3]
Following his passionate and simple acoustics path, Pangyarihan revealed a more stripped back nature of his music with the release of the heart-rending single “Kahit Na Hindi Tayo” in February 2020.
