Colt Gray is an American high school student accused of being the shooter in the 2024 Apalachee High School shooting.[1]

Early Life
Gray was born in Georgia, United States. His parents are Colin and Marcee Gray.[2] In May 2023, police questioned him about school shooting threats made on the app Discord. He was not arrested or charged due to insufficient evidence.[3]
2024 Apalachee High School shooting
On September 4, 2024, Gray perpetrated a mass shooting at Apalachee High School, killing 2 students and 2 teachers, and injuring 9 more.[4] His weapon was shown to be a semi-automatic AR-15 styled rifle.[5]
Gray was arrested shortly after the shooting. He is being charged with 4 counts of felony murder, as well as being tried as an adult. He was first seen in court on September 8, 2024, where he pleaded not guilty.[5]
On October 17, 2024, both Colt and his father, Colin, were indicted. Colt was indicted on 55 counts of charges. The charges include murder, aggravated assault, and cruelty to children.[6] He did not get arrested physically, and pleaded not guilty in his cell.[7]
