Cooku with Comali Pugazh is an Indian actor who works in Tamil-language television shows and films.
Career[edit]
In 2008, Pugazh came to Chennai from Cuddalore for a job, and worked in a mining and later a roofing company. He auditioned but was eliminated at the sixth season of STAR Vijay's Kalakka Povathu Yaaru. Mohan, a common friend through actor Udayaraj, gave him a job at a dubbing studio in Chennai. During the ending of the fifth season of Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, Dheena gave Pugazh a small role in which Pugazh had to perform. After the success of the performance, Vinoth, the winner of the sixth season, offered Pugazh a small role. He went on to play Ambi in Airtel Super Singer.[1] He garnered acclaim for his performance in Cooku with Comali. In the show, he is a participant along with Ramya Pandian.[2][3] He was offered a role in Master as a student in jail; however, he rejected the role after he was required to go bald since he would not be recognized.[4]
