Coming from insanity is a 2019 crime drama movie written and directed by Akinyemi Sebastian Akinropo and produced by Ibidolapo Ajayi.[1] It was released on June 14, 2019.[2][3] It was nominated for America Black Film Festival Award under the best international narrative feature.[4]The film showcased team of talented actors, led by Gabriel Afolayan, Bolanle Ninalowo, Sani Danja and Wale Ojo.[5]
Synopsis[edit]
The film is a story of 12 year old boy named Kossi, who was illegally trafficked in the mid- nineties from Togo to Lagos, Nigeria.[1] He served as a domestic for the Martin's family, a upper-middle class family of four.[3] [6] Kossi with staunch desire for a better life soon discovered a means print counterfeit dollar notes.[6] This lead him to be on the watch list of Economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC). [3][7]

The film has a user rating of 8.2 on IMDB and 75% user score on Nollywood reinvented.[1][8]
Accolades[edit]
The film was nominated for America Black Film Festival Award under the best international narrative feature.[4] The movie lead actor, Gabriel Afolayan was also awarded in the best Actor in a drama (movie/TV series) category of AMVCA 2020 while Bio Arimomo was awarded in best make-up category of the same event.[9][10]
