The Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan is a coordinating management body authorized to resolve issues in the field of communications and informatization, conduct state policy, and use the radio frequency spectrum.[1]
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan №PF-3080 on May 30, 2002 "On further development of computerization and introduction of information and communication technologies", the Postal and Telecommunications Agency of Uzbekistan, established on the former Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was transformed into the Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan[2]
